“ This restaurant is amazing! I ate the best risotto of my life there! I really did! I've been saying the same thing a lot lately (about eating the best food, the best pasta, etc) and I have to say it for this plate! Every bite I'd say: “omg”. It was perfect, It was a mushroom risotto with truffle. Besides the risotto, I loved the catalan cream, I really recommend both. All the food was good and the service was great! ”

“ Went in for diner, there were another 5-6 tables occupied at the time. The waiter welcomed us and explained our seating options then showed us in. Promptly we had the menus, the water and the order was taken ... The lamb, the king prawns and pasta with shrimps. Got wine by the glass and a fresh orange juice. Compared to the extensive wine list, the glass selection is "chicken or beef" type, but the local red was quite interesting. It took about 30 minutes to have the food delivered. Beautiful plating, hot food, good size portions. Unfortunately the lamb was nothing like the usual. When you wiped off the gravy, it was extra dry, chewy and tasteless. Managed to go thru the first piece but figured out that I'm m there for a different reason, that being a nice diner out in a 4* hotel. Therefore I asked again for a menu and ordered an Uruguayan beef tenderloin with grilled vegetables and another glass of red. The other two dishes were great by the way !! The waitress checked on us, told her that everything but the lamb is ok and this is definitely the 5th and last attempt with this dish. Her answer was "ok, I will let the chef know" and left without offering an alternative to a customer dissatisfied with his dish. Obviously the Chef didn't have a reaction, nor anybody else. If you know that a dish is not the way you wanted, let me know and I will most definitely appreciate it. A complimentary glass of wine, a dessert, a voucher to use at a different visit. The beef was great so we're the grilled veggies and the truffled butter. Ordered two creme brulee and I can confirm that is an all time best choice. Overall we ended up having a good meal because I decided to correct the experience at my expense by ordering a second main course. If the true focus would've been on the culinary experience somebody there (including the manager present - if I get the jakets color code right) could have stepped in and own a positive resolution. The alternative was to send the food back, express my disappointment, skip diner and leave early ... But again, I had setting else planned for the evening. But maybe is just a well designed place with pretty people where you go and eat something that looks good on Instagram. A hotel equals a higher standard than other places an should offer an experience with a different level of interaction, service, cleanliness, etc. The thing is all these components have to complete each other, not cover for each other, so good service will never make it up for bad food or the other way around. ”

The duck was the same average duck you can get anywhere. The cocktails had no personality. Overall a decent choice, but nothing special to justify the absurd prices. ”
